Thursday, June 2

On Ascension Thursday we left Madrid for one week, our next city on the list of cities to visit. Patrick brought us here to the train station so we do not come too late. The bus does not leave for nine hours at Sunday, and we wanted to train eight to nine have. One more cup of coffee and we were underway again. I had the last day already bought tickets, so it was no longer necessary. Over time we were at the station, the train came right on time and the trip went smoothly. Arriving at the airport we went our luggage check-in. The boarding passes we had, we had already checked in online on Wednesday morning. Handy, you can at least indicate you do coexist, but do not want to sit next to a window. At the baggage drop-off was good pressure, but fifteen minutes it was done. Coffee with half a baguette with smoked salmon and we were totally ready for. Behind the security check where Piet lot of things and ought to take off, I bought a smell. After shopping walked around a little and then it was already time to go boarding. Fifteen minutes later, because the pressure was in the airspace between Amsterdam and Madrid. We would be fine. Two sandwiches with two accompanying wines further, we unfortunately already there with a fifteen minute delay, when we arrived it was very busy and we could not land. Fortunately: no connecting flight or a bus was waiting for us. Such a city where you've arranged everything yourself is quite good. Arriving at the airport our luggage we went out and walked to the metro ticket office. A seven-day ticket for both purchased for the sum of € 50.00 and we could continue. It all went very smoothly and in an hour we were, including a fifteen minute walk from our hotel Praga. Fortunately we had the backpacks included, instead of a suitcase as in Paris. In Madrid there are in the metro stairs and then a backpack is still much easier than a suitcase. In the hotel we were registered, they wrote our credit card number, and we got the key. of our room. The breakfast was arranged but equal and our ticket written. Totally cool. The room was fine and after unpacking the backpacks we are in the bar hotel a beer will do. Also quite fine! We are well catered for: peanuts, pretzels and chips. Afterwards we Metro went away to eat. We went looking for Las Caracoles, according to Maurice the tent with the best snails in the world. It was not easy to find, we still have a bit of getting used to the way benummering of properties and the names of the streets. If the numbers rise from two to higher, and you have to 106 , then you think you just have to walk. But here is not so, the numbers just once again start at a different place, for example after a roundabout. Also showed that in this quest to be the case, and after have declined, we were suddenly at the door. But it did not look appetizing (even before get used), and it was still very empty. So the way to the alternative: Calle de la Cava Baja, the Short Putstraat Madrid. After some walking around, we went to the Canary specialty El Escaldón went inside. That the courts of the Canary Islands had a specialty, we knew not at all, but there were a few tables and Fri when we looked it looked more fun and pressure. We were actually just in time to down a spot to have the people who came in after us were all up (until of course tables were released). We ordered and cuttlefish rabbit and of course a glass of wine. Then came the cuttlefish squid appeared, but that was then very tasty. With a coriander sauce and an apple and lettuce type per person. There were also two similar knives and forks resolved, So eating a plate together. Totally cool. The rabbit in wine sauce that came afterwards was very easy to do. Some bread there, and of course a wine made it complete. Actually we had enough, that was probably also related with the drink in advance and chippies and peanuts in the hotel. After dinner we took wine and we were place on a young couple who wanted to eat. We went here on a stool at the pillar edge sit with our wine glasses to drink. After dinner we went for a walk, and we came through without much El Botín, the restaurant where we Sunday was reserved. A long line at the door there, but fortunately we have a table at home regulated. We were also covered by the tasting Mercado de San Miguel which Maurice had, that would also nice for this one week. After our walk we went back to the hotel for a nightcap in the bar. Which was already close to twelve hours, so there was still a drink (we came to within ten to twelve). The drink we have drunk in the lobby, nothing wrong with that but not able to get the second drink. After drink a bit tired to bed.

Friday, June 3

A quarter to eight the alarm went off, we can finally not all our time in this beautiful city overslept. After a fine shower we had breakfast. There nothing wrong with: different breads and pastries, meats and cheeses, and many all kinds of sweet. Fresh fruit for themselves whether to peel them to make a salad and drink all you want. After that excellent breakfast we went for filling in those days. Our course was excellent subway map here handy. When we got out to switch to the Banco Espanol we saw in the subway station, the small museum Canos del Peral, with a few pieces restored vaults. We would start with the Prado, but there was the row the cash register so busy that we have turned to Thyssen. There we bought a card that entitles you to entrance Prado also of (we do not stand in line) and Reina Sofia. Those are exactly the museums we want visits. Because we are in we have that Thyssen had first visited. We started as usual with a first coffee. Once inside there was a pretty amazing collection of paintings, with many Dutch masters, there is even a self-portrait by Rembrandt. But Van Gogh, Jacob Ruijsdael and other Dutch celebrities. Other painters were well represented Picasso, Goya, Monet and many other celebrities. After extensive visits to all the nice stuff, we went looking Caixa Forum, a beautiful building with hanging garden. It took a while and we thought we were too far when we looked up at once and for stood. Quite apart not only the building, but also the hanging garden. These are not just hanging plants, shrubs and plants but complete as we also in the garden. Them properly keep walking there is always water, probably with food, over. Then we Cerveceria El Olivar lunch. An authentic Spanish bar where you also can eat. When we arrived saw The waiter immediately that we needed a cold beer, so that was quickly ordered (and drunk). The food was different, English is not known. But because it is apparently more people than just us hard to choose, they have a platter for two with a tasting of all tosta programs they have, and we even ordered. Delicious with crab salad, tomato, cheese, cream cheese with anchovies, and many more goodies. For every seven pieces, so even with a Piet beer for myself and for a rosé was quite enough. Delicious seated and before we uitgebuikt continued on our walk for the day. We went to Parque del Retiro, en route we passed the church of San Jeronimo el Real, Museo del Prado across the state. Unfortunately this was closed, so we continued our way to the park. A beautiful park with a boating lake where many boats enter, and many fish swam eagerly were conducted. We have walked around and nice pictures of the monument of Alfonso XII and the Crystal Palace. This is a branch of Museo Reina Sofia, but during our visit there was a large slide in. Through the park we went to the Real Jardin Botanica, which first along the second book stalls were. Unfortunately, almost all still closed. We did not buy books, but if business operators, it is always more pleasant. Unfortunately, the entrance to the botanical gardens a bit further around the corner, so still a bit run. Along a second litter was still small market rapidly recovered. In the botanical garden we quietly walked around, while enjoying a shared can of coke. Unfortunately, because there was no opportunity to have something to drink. The garden is a nice place to get something to walking and taking pictures of beautiful flowers and rare trees. On the way home we went to the station for tickets to the next day to buy. We would go to Toledo. Pressure, but finally, we turn and we could buy our tickets. Unfortunately, the departure time that we wanted already full, but a train later, too. After the cards we were done with a bit and we go home (hotel) went back for a beer before dinner. The metro is a great vehicle, and we feel as usual back home in Spain. It would be our rhythm of life may be, we're going to own just about half past nine before eating. So these days, let ' went to the Plaza Mayor and the Mercado de San Miguel. The latter is an old, glass-covered market where you at various tents Tapas and drinks. We would eat there, but it was by the late time so busy that there was no getting through. For lunch or early dinner next time then. We came eventually go to a tapas around ten tent in the Calle de la Cava Baja, the vein of last time (Short Putstraat so). Again crowds, but still just a table in the corner. But like a bottle pink ordered. Again the food was not that easy, although a Spanish menu. Started in shrimp garlic oil, always a success. A roll there and we were able to dunk again a while. What later flesh-ordered, although it is becoming difficult. So the waiter asked. What I was pointing to his stomach turned, so which I have just let go and have followed his advice. That proved beef with fried potatoes, so well. Back home for the now famous nightcap in the hotel bar. I went a beer and sangria round pick in the lounge to drink.

Saturday, June 4

The alarm clock to expire, because otherwise we would miss the trien. Because it all went a bit slower than we had hoped and because we are half an hour before the train would leave if I set the alarm on account it had taken, we have something faster when we used to have breakfast on a trip. Still, good food and on time left, we would certainly not too late. We finally had a ticket and had to be in time. With a fine Avant Renfe train, we were less than half hour in Toledo. The security check was very special, we had to Thalys not seen. On the other hand, quite understandable after the bombing in 2004. Arrived in Toledo they stood at the station with maps of Toledo for € 2.00. Because we used to have spinner did not, and fortunately it was just a moment later a branch of the tourist office where the tickets were free. The lady of the Tourist office told me that we could take the bus to the center and that cost € 1.00. Fortunately, because the station was a bus that cost € 2.00, and when we knew we had not taken. A little further Indeed, the bus was coming, and so it towards the center. Good thing we have spent € 1.90, It was a nice climb to the main part of Toledo. We of course started with coffee a nice terrace, but then we really went on the road. That the arms trade, in particular a swords prosperous town in the past year has brought is still clearly visible. In all the souvenir shops swords and harnesses of all sizes for sale. But plenty of real swords and daggers can be bought. There is also a lively trade in all kinds of pearls in jewelry. Anyone who wishes can do so enjoy. And all the stores and shops in the streets or down or up tilt, but which is also very nice. First we visited the Cathedral of Toledo, a beautiful structure with even more splendid interior. The first effect we observed was one where you only a part of the church behind a fence could see, so that was not quite. We walk to the store and of course have bought tickets. The narrow view we could throw from the blocked entrance was enough for us to buy the tickets. The church is really gorgeous, too bad it can make no photos. Luckily I have a little camera and I was not alone, we So have a few. But it only looked at all the pomp and circumstance was already sufficient. The beautiful arches and statues, the beautiful altar and chapels on the side of the building are difficult to describe, even by the few pictures. The sacristy looks like a gallery, with many paintings by El Greco and other great painters such as Rubens, Titian and Valezques. Chapel in the Tower are a number of sculptures of gold and silver dazzling. In the largest zijn 260 processed images, stunning. Next stop, after some searching in the small streets, the museum which was formerly the Sinagoga del Tránsito, say the Jewish Historical Museum in Toledo. There was an overview of the Jewish community of Toledo. That is, tell the books, was the largest of the Siberian peninsula until they were expelled. Then we went the Sinagoga de Santa Maria La Blanca gone, it has beautiful arches and frescoes in the great hall. Very worthwhile both. For lunch we have the convent and church of San Juan de los Reyes visited. A beautiful cloister garden, a beautiful church there. On the outside of the church are the bonds of Christians in Granada freed, a very special sight. After all those visits we were to eat and drink, so we dived Cerveceria Scorpions of the terrace opposite the church. First, at a table with chairs angled terrible, but did not so good. Luckily the table the waiter still Fri There were two chairs just right. A bottle of red, and two paella mariscos and we were great. Therefore we have made good on our convenience. But we were obviously not in Toledo to just before lunch what to see, so we went out again. We walked up to the church of Santo Tome to visit, but it was unfortunately closed. So we went gently down, we would walk to the station back. When we arrived at the Plaza de Zocodover I a little movie we made and through the gate Arco de la Sangre walked to where the Museo de Santa Cruz encounter. Despite the incipient fatigue we are still just made up. It is a surprising museum, with most beautiful things and also a small monastery garden. After the short visit we continue walked down to a picture of the gate on the way we all saw from the bus. Piet arrived there was some pictures but we also saw that a lot of people dressed festively waiting at the gate of a church. It was a wedding and we just wait for some pictures to make. When the church came, there was a large family to come out clearly in well doing. Many people and all dressed in gowns and dresses at H & M does not come. There was a short performance by a pair of flamenco conducted under the guidance of a guitar and singing a number of ladies. Nice to see, too bad that at one when my memory card was full. Then the whole party was split and the couple went on the road for the pictures We also continued. Piet move some pictures of the fortress, the bridge and castle, but zachtjesaan We arrived near the station. Because we always leave on time, especially when we are necessarily have to be on time, we had time for a little beer on a large terrace opposite the station. As always, there was again a treat when served, this time for each one tosta with tuna and some chips. Totally cool weather. After having quenched our thirst was time to take the train to Madrid to look. We had to go through a security check, but that all went fairly quickly. Again within a half hour back in Madrid. The train had I have been reading that the Madrid train station was established a memorial for the victims of the bombing in 2004. Of course we wanted as well, and we were now anyway. As the Lonely Planet said that there was movement in I sit on the train cleared some space on my memory card. It would be unfortunate if we do nothing could introduce. Also in the book that there was a garden in the station was built, so too, had gone the plan. The plants we found quickly, and the large population of turtles which feed into a pond. Nice. But the monument was closed, it would be a next time we come to the station would do again we can be visited. We are after a little here and should still use the station to the Museo Reina Sofia. We would go to bed. Went to the bar of the hotel for a drink.

Sunday, June 5

The days of Europe's largest flea market (according to the guidebooks of Madrid). That meant that we also had to go, (almost by definition) that we were starting very soon. But we still have an hour walked around until we saw that it was not quite our thing. It took a while before we have between all the "normal" The flea market stalls took part, but then it just turned out to be a small square we were soon finished. So on the way to Museo del Prado, the road course in time for a café con leche. Arrived at the Prado, we went straight to the entrance, we finally had already bought tickets through the purchase of the Paseo del Arte the map for the three museums. Too bad, we were back to our voucher (that was the Paseo eventually) to exchange for a real ticket. Fortunately, the row for the "change" many times shorter than for those who same day bought a ticket. What a collection, it's really unbelievable what they have hanging. We of course, went first to "the Garden of Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch, we are a bit chauvinistic. What a beautiful piece is that in real life, we regret that no pictures were allowed to take. On the other hand, meant that that we could look at our ease. The other parts from Bosch are very nice, hard to understand that in those times that was painted. But other paintings by Rembrandt, and Valezques still some of that famous painters were great! The "black paintings" of Goya are truly breathtaking. The many paintings by Rubens are not to be missed, like those of Monet, Van Gogh and others, for us lesser known artists. It took us a lot of time trying to see even just the highlights. In between we just have a drink, it was all very much. After a time wandering through all rooms with wonderful paintings that we have considered at some point anyway, but the Real Madrid stadium it was too late. Especially since I had some food. It was half past three now, so high Time for something for lunch. We walked a bit to near Caixa Forum, the Atocha & Huertas district. There in the neighborhood the day before we had seen some nice eateries and good food, so it seemed a good choice. And so it was true, we ended up in Los Bodeguilla Rotos. Each a beer and some sausage and calamari, and we could forward again. After lunch we went to the station, we wanted the memorial to the dead of the bombing 2004 to go see. When we arrived we saw that the opening time was 17.00 hours. Because all four fifty Of course we had continued to wait. It was not so large, but very special. In the first room were the names of the victims on glass plates, and the hall was a dome with all endorsements shortly after the deposits from all over the world were entered. Those endorsements were in the original language, thus everything together. From Hebrew to Arabic and any languages ??from Europe and other continents. I thought gather that the dome would move, but later I realized that "moving" not only moving but also moving means. After a short visit to the memorial we went back to the hotel. Over half hours before we were leaving steal it rained, really no nice weather to pass through it. But we had booked and at some point we finally left. Good thing I had brought two umbrellas, so they come in handy (although we would prefer them do not use). When we were stopped again by rain, so we did not suffer much from had. Botín eat at, what I'll look to say. It is nice, even separately. Where else can you "suckling pig" dinner? The rest the food was great. Piet had previously garlic soup with egg, and I roasted peppers with salt fish. Great, bottle red piece of bread and there. The main course took Piet and the pig I roasted baby lamb, a specialty. Good food, but it's shed one eats. The building is beautiful, but the rate of food comes through is ridiculous. The soup was barely up when the main course arrived. We had eaten within the hour, and then did Piet have it easy. We have only taken no more dessert, and at ease the wine drunk. So despite the special food we would never do it again. € 95.00 for two times we eat out one night in Madrid. After dinner we went back to the hotel. The way we take two beers from the supermarket because we thought that we do not would get more for twelve hours at the hotel bar to be. Luckily we got some in the hotel. The door was already closed, but Alberto (our favorite waiter) gave some to us. These drinks have we even in the lobby drunk. There were still many people inside, but apparently everybody is here early to bed, or at least to the room. No wonder the bars are closed for twelve hours. After the drink in the lounge, Piet still one of the fetched cans of beer drunk, but I have nothing of marked. Of course I was already very fast in dreamland after a fantastic but tiring day Madrid.

Monday, June 6

After the usual time (eight hours) to have risen, and after another good breakfast at the hotel we went for our visit to Museo Reina Sofia. This time, not old but young (er) master. We enjoyed Picasso Guernica and other documents, and El Mastrubator Dali. But of all the sketches that preceded the making such masterpieces. Miro was also well represented and some of our lesser-known artists from Spain and abroad. Between watching the various works by having some coffee / tea chocolate cake eaten in the restaurant of the museum. That was less expensive than its surroundings would suggest. The second and fourth floors was the most important, from the first floor we have some things about beaten, and the third floor was nothing there. Which is why, for the coffee, first extended look at Picasso's Guernica and all that hung around it. All in all a great museum to visit if you like arts. If that is not the case, it is okay to do some things you must have seen when you are in a certain town. The Taj Mahal in Agra, Eiffel Tower in Paris and Guernica in the Reina Sofia in Madrid, part of that (we found). After visiting the museum we are at the museum to get some food, a beer with a salmon sandwich and mares was Calar enough to continue. Because it was dry we started to walk in the Lonely Planet of the Old Town. In addition we arrived at the Plaza de España with the image of the author of Don Quixote. There were also pictures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza himself too. Nice to see. Walking along the designated route we passed through a monastery, but that was unfortunately closed on Mondays, so we had not much. Also we walked along the Grand Via shopping galore. While nice we were walking it suddenly started to rain, too bad, but a good opportunity to break with to do a beer. We did that at Cerveceria 100 montaditos, an occasion where you € 2.00 a pint beer you can order many different sandwiches for € 1.00 to € 2.00 each (depending on the type bread and toppings). After our beer, we went away to the stadium of Real Madrid for viewing thereof. For "only" € 16.00 per person we could see the stadium. But that was not even the dressing rooms, the dugout, the press room and the rooms with natural history and the trophies were open to the public. So it was definitely worth it, and we were glad to have seen it. Beautiful to see how the heroes will be honored there, and the long history and as the club won prices exhibited. After the visit to Estadio Bernabeu we were a little bit done with these days and we are back went to the hotel. We have before we go upstairs, a wine and beer included in the hotel bar (the bill is sky high fixed) before we went up to the travelogue write and refresh. Then we walked the street to eat, we had not much sense to go into town. In our street we had seen enough tents also seemed worthwhile, and so it turned out to be. We ended up at the El Taberna Dominquez. We got a snack if aperitif before dinner came. I had ordered a stir fried prawns with mushrooms, and bread. The latter did not see the need, the board with mushrooms, shrimp and egg turned out to be the first corridor. Even a glass of rosé for both and we The time could come through here. When we wanted to order the mussels were found this not to be there, and we went about the calamari (how annoying it can be). There again in a glass, Piet went on to red and the waiter brought completely confused. Beer beforehand, pink and red in the first court in the second he could not all follow. But it was all good, and it was fine too. When we got into a drink, it tasted Bailey's a little bit, but was not. Highly recommended! We went back to the hotel, and have not even taken anything in the bar.

Tuesday, June 7

As always risen to eight hours, showered and had breakfast and then getut. After all that morning stuff we're well beyond half past nine walk to the subway station to the metro to the Palacio Real. Sadly, closed. It's a bit unfortunate that we are here as the king or the government decides that there should be a festival in the palace, the measure is no different. So, on to the second planned destination for this day: the Basilica de San Francisco El Grande. What a splendor can sit in a church. When we entered the tour just started and we are joined. Too bad he in Spanish, but because we first museums have done, and we are very many scenes from the Bible had already I could view the guide closely. What is important is that you are not behind the altar in the sacristy is you just walking around. Moreover, the guide always lights at the various events on and off when he starts and ends with his story. That means you can see anything less if you only visit the church. After first visit we walk outside to take a picture of it, and we ended up in the dahlia garden the cathedral. Nice to see, but also the buitenant of the church. It does not look like anything special until you enter. When Piet is a photo from an opposite street, we saw wanted to make a terrace. Because we had already figured it was time for coffee but as we sit down. Coffee then it was already about twelve hours, so time for a glass of rosé. You must occasionally take a new tradition started, and two coffee in Spain can not my stomach. After this short break we continued walking and we went to the church of San Andres and San Miguel of us. Both churches have beautiful statues of the Virgin, and the rest are also great to see. In San Miguel we were just in time, we were just ten minutes in when he closed. Walking on we came to the Plaza de la Villa, and other nice spots right. At Plaza de la Villa I felt that something was on view, but they were only offices and therefore we could not. Current we arrived near the Mercado San Miguel, the old market hall, now transformed to a great tasting snacks and drinks. We would have dinner there that night, but that afternoon but remain hang. It was already busy enough and it would be evening much busier. The latter because we had previously a week already, when there was no getting through. So after some searching for a table, two stools and especially We stand at a table. There were two people already working on their dessert, and perhaps, we would have a prospect have a seat. I already went once again get champagne and oysters (life is so terrible. Just before I left the second corridor, scallops, went to get our table mates were away so we had the coveted crutches. You saw people everywhere search for a zitplaatsje and diving on a stool when one became available. A So popular place, and we were all taken care off: Piet watched my stool with his life, and I went organize the snacks and drinks. And also we did it again with the weather good, it came during our stay in the Mercado in buckets from heaven. We have spent a few hours the eating of the snacks and drinks. It is not the cheapest lunch we've ever enjoyed, it was enjoying it. After all that you-you-eat and drink we were done with a bit and we back to the hotel. But not without a beer / wine that I have taken to the El Taberna Dominquez. Back at the hotel written to the travel and have a bath. That would be the last night in Madrid. After resting we went hiking to some beautiful night shots. As usual with the subway, and although The dots began to rain a little bit not really. So lucky again, it is all in all not too bad with the bad weather that predicted. We walked around for an hour to see if there were beautiful pictures, and that was true. The Sun was shining, and so late at night gives a very special effect, especially on tall buildings. You see For example, a tower in the sun, while the building itself is quite dark. After a while walking around to find something to eat. We thought that it would cost too difficult, but it was still here against. Then you see that there is a difference between night and day between the weekend and weekdays. The "Short Putstraat "was a lot of army tents there were even close. This may also be because we came so late were. We think not mind more, after eleven hours to eat (especially after a lunch like that of afternoon). In the Calle de la Cava Baja was nothing for me, the first thing we went in were We put in a basement. It was not empty, there were more people, but I found it so uncomfortable that I got up and left. The second type was a McDonald's for tapas. Is not fun when you have a counter You need to get snacks. So even there again. So eventually we found El Madroño, sitting outside on the terrace. We ordered steak and oxtail, meat once again. The steak was of course home again, if we're used to, but nice. The oxtail was very leak, with a delicious sauce and fried potatoes. A bottle of pink and there was of course completely. This time but no bread taken, we were still a bit full. After dinner we sit inside. I did have my denim jacket , but Piet sat with a blouse with short sleeves and it cooled off a bit. Within a nightcap (Beer / wine) because the hotel and the shops were already closed, it was now half past twelve when we left. After be paid to have a drink of the house too drunk, and the cup which was donated have eaten we left home. We were stopped by the church for which we actually lit the city had gone in, but the lights were already out. Too bad, but alas.

Wednesday, June 8

Put the clock to half past seven, and then just stood up, we still had to finally tackle. That was actually done quite fast, and showering and fussing with them as we were late to breakfast to go. Also quiet done after The breakfast room is checked out and paid the bill. After all the paperwork we went to walk. The first piece of course the subway, we're very favorable. The heart of the city lies on the subway line that also from "us" Subway Marques de Villado change without reach. We almost always steps off at La Latina. From there, everything is walkable. Madrid appears on the card may be very large, but all major things are still within walking distance. We have a number of buildings to photograph, and of course Plaza Mayor. The sun shines and everything is more beautiful anyway, the frescoes on one of the buildings on the Plaza. When we wanted to go to the palace to go to the last visit was suddenly a procession of horses with a kind soldiers in dress uniform over. We had to do with his course, and we did. The showed that we were lucky the monthly changing of the guard of the palace could see and photograph filming. Of course, my memory card is full, and just moments later the battery. But anything erased and battery changed and I could continue. There was a great show with the horses and carts on the large square outside the Castle, accompanied by the Royal Harmony Madrid. There were many horses with soldiers were different outfits. On the square was a grandstand built for the public. But before People stood behind the fences. Very nice all, and so again the gift that we each city actually have. And with that, we mean an unexpected event that is fun to watch. After all that we are still here in the gardens of the palace, but in fact we were a little bit done. We So went back to the Plaza Mayor and there have sat on a terrace with a glass of wine and a dish fried fish. Nice when closure of the city. Back at the hotel we still had a drink, we continue Last drinks do:. But for three hours we were really gone. With backpacks on the subway we went for our latter route, leading to the airport. When we arrived at the stairs of the subway turned out we were not wrong done to bring backpacks, there was a couple of suitcases up the stairs to carry. The journey was like so all the time well, and we were so without delay at the airport. We have our first change of clothes and go check right then. There was no row at least. A lady from KLM helped us to automatically check and print boarding passes. We still had a spot exchange, we were to get back to the window and is not our favorite place. But as we also went through customs, there seemed not much to do. I forgot the notebook from the bag to get, so got to do something extra at the security check, but it was so quiet that's all no problem. We have a (again last) beer made while I travelogue worked. It really is a great little notebook along. If we go home (than in Den Bosch) is already finished and I need nothing more to work. After a tasty sandwich and a couple of wines we were quickly back at Schiphol. We wanted to train a quarter to ten get and that's largely successful. Den Bosch arrived in central Patrick was already waiting for us, and so we were pretty home at half past eleven. After a great week, Madrid is definitely worth it!
