We decided to spend our holiday in the summer of 1990 in Bulgaria.It was our first real round trip, so it was not easy to get used to staying at a hotel for just one night. The trip was a combination of culture and beach. We travelled around the country for the first week and the second week we relaxed at the beaches of the Black Sea. It was there where we could recover from al our impressions of the country. The water was pleasant, the companionship delightfull. The only hard things was to get some tastefull food. The restaurants didn't have the standard we were used to in the Netherlands. At that time Bulgaria wasn't quite set up for western tourists yet.
