During a short break in 2009 we visited Brugge in Belgium. It is an old city with
beautiful buidlings in a historical city centre. Especially the Begijnhof and the "reien"
(canals like in Amsterdam) were nice. We did a boat trip in the canals, and visited the brewery
at which the special beer Brugse Zot is made. We did a tour there, in which André of the photo on this page
was the tourleader. He spoke enthousiastic about the history of the brewery, and about the brewing
proces.
Of course we had to taste the beer, and it is true: the beers of Belgium are great.
We also more than once visited the pub Cambrinus where they serve 400 different beers, each in it's
own glass.
In our opinion Brugge is a nice place to visit for a few days, we had a good time there.
