In 2008 one of our wishes was fulfilled: a trip to Argentina and Chile. In the years before we had to plan our trips during the summer, and that is not the right time to go there. We went during the period that there would be whales nearby Península Valdés, and we did not regret it. We couldn't have dreamed to see them so close by. But also the penguins and beavers were fantastic. The nature as we seen and experienced it was overwhelming. Especially the walk on the glacier Viedma and the boattrip amongst icebergs ware very impressive. It was just about spring when we went there, so our winter coats were no luxury at the most southern part of the world.
